About Kwacha Baptist Church

Kwacha Baptist Church is an indigenous local church that began in 1965 as a result of the weekly Bible Study Meetings of the Bible Way Correspondence of the Baptist Mission of Zambia of the International Mission board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Our Purpose is to Worship God in a Christ Centred and  God honouring manner, invite all to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, to grow strong in His Word and live a Christian life that pleases Him.

Our aim is to reflect the love of Christ and to be more like Him.

Kwacha Baptist Church is a founding member church of the Copperbelt Baptist Fellowship Churches Association at regional level and the Baptist Fellowship of Zambia at national level.

We are a 'mother church' to Ipusukilo Baptist Church which was born in 1985, to Mutupa Baptist  Church which was born in 2003 and to Vision Baptist Church which we began in 2008.

We have an annual ministry of going to the rural areas of Central, North-Western and Luapula Provinces of Zambia to minister to our Baptist Family Churches.

We are in love with the Founders' Ministries of Southern Baptists which calls us back to our Baptist Historic Doctrines of grace.
